After posting for a freelance writer at my local job listing instead of using FiveErr I learnt many things.
I learnt to be more precise on what I want to know. I asked for a specific problem that was not answered well in Google so that I can use that as a first topic.
While reading Twitter, I realised that something similar was used by Google too.
About halfway into the interview, when the candidate seem a bit more relaxed, I always ask them: “Think about something you deeply love. Take a few minutes to prepare and then teach it to me in a few minutes.”
I asked for the sake of my topic but I also learnt more about the person interest. I think passion will win over degree or certification and current ability. (Growth mindset).
